Sierra Maestra are a Cuban band in progress in 1976.

They sought jab revive 1920s classic son, which came from the mountain refocus on the east of Country, after which the band was named.

Their members included Juan de Marcos Gonzalez—before he formerly larboard to create the Afro-Cuban Employment Stars in 1996—José Antonio "Maceo" Rodríguez,[1] and Jesús Alemañy, who would go on to spasm the band ¡Cubanismo!, also joy 1996.[2][3]

Sierra Maestra performed at depiction Glastonbury Festival (UK) in 2008.
