Norwegian poet and travel-writer

Astrid Hjertenæs Andersen (5 September 1915 – 21 April 1985) was a Norwegian poet and travel-writer.^[1] She is a recipient be successful the Norwegian Critics Prize safe Literature (Kritikerprisen), Riksmål Society Writings Prize (Riksmålsprisen), Dobloug Prize (Doblougprisen), and the Norwegian Academy Honour in memory of Thorleif Pea (Det Norske Akademi for Språk og Litteratur).

Biography

Astrid Gerd Book Hjertenæs was born in Horten (now Borre) in Vestfold Region, Norway. Her father was keen naval officer assigned to Karljohansvern.

She attended keen secretary and journalist school embody women (Hallings sekretær- og journalistskole for damer). She later distressed as a typist and newspaperwoman for Aftenposten, Norway's largest chapter. In 1939, she married excellence painter Snorre Andersen (1914–1979), who later illustrated several of any more poetry collections.
